Classes so far in January have been themed with a more self caring approach to slowing down on your mat and moving inward alongside the shorter days and the more retrospective environment.
Sunday “Warm Yin Yoga” sessions, we are pleased to say, now also offer a smaller and more intimate class experience at Fennel Studio. This is a booking only space at the studio, where all props are supplied.
Date: September 24th-26th, limited to 16 maximum at 7th Rise Cornwall.
Set in the valley of an ancient oak woodland, on the banks of the River Fal in Cornwall, 7th Rise is an off-grid wilderness retreat, a foundational space for a wild way of life.
Tucked away on the banks of the River Fal, the secluded, wild location is one of the most unique settings in Cornwall. At the heart of the venue is the Lost Cottage of Penperth, complete with a cosy lounge warmed by a woodburner and 4 luxurious yet humble rooms. It is set within an ancient oak woodland in a private creek, the scene is wild, creative and peaceful. It is the perfect retreat from modern, busy and technology focused life.
‘The Barn’ will be our practice space, warmed by a log burner, and adaptable to be open to the elements. We have a huge fire pit for fireside evening conversation and stargazing, long outdoor feast table and hammock area overlooking the river. The ‘Treehouse’ provides us with a peaceful space to journal and have intimate moments in the canopy accompanied by a chorus of birdsong. Showers are alfresco, yet hot and private, with the best river views.
The Retreat will be fully catered and will include daily yoga classes, Yoga Nidra offerings, a wild workshop and free time to swim and explore this off-grid experience. Booking options will be provided to select the room and pricing of your choice which will be able to accommodate the experience that suits you best!
Please note that travel arrangements are not included in the total cost per person but further information on this can be provided. The closest airport being Exeter and hiring a car / possible taxi transfer. Or by boat (with car) on Condor to Poole
